Hello all,
In this guide we will go over how to access Microsoft Visio for projects that require the use of the application.
Pre-requisites:
- AD (Active Directory) Username and Password
- Web Browser (preferably Chrome)
* If you do not know or aren't sure about your AD Username and Password please put a ticket in at https://ractsol.freshdesk.com and if you need to expedite the ticket please feel free to reach out to me at aminnich@ractsol.com *
Instructions:
- Access URL https://ractsol.work/#/userdashboard and log in using Active Directory credentials i.e. Username:joeShmoe@ractsol.work password:iloveractsol (NOTE: this is not an actual user and password)
- Once logged in please go to the "workspaces"
- Then click the workspace labeled "Visio"
- KASM will then prompt you with a window "Launch Visio" (this is your preference I prefer "new tab")
- You should then be greeted with another log in prompt this time for the VDI itself, log in with the same AD credentials MINUS "@ractsol.work" EXAMPLE Username:Joeshmoe Password:iloveractsol
- You should now be inside of the VDI environment, you can now go to the Windows search bar and look up "Visio" and launch it!
